S.Janaki sings after a decade!
Veteran singer S.Janaki is back singing a film song after more than a decade. The singer is not well for several years and had very much stopped singing film songs. But she recently recorded a song for a Tamil movie starring Dhanush. The movie titled Velai Illa Pattathari (VIP) has music composed by young music sensation Anirudh. The song was a melody duet and the movie unit says it is the highlight of the entire album.
The singer recently kicked a storm after she rejected the coveted Padma Bhushan award, stating it had come too late in her 55-year long career. Lets see if this song in Velai Illa Pattathari (VIP) marks her second innings in to films!
