Arrambam team on a high!
The special screening of Arrambam for the Censor Board officials happened recently, and the Board members cleared the movie with a U. All the members of the Board were very lavish in praising the movie's content. It is said that Thala Ajith would not be in Chennai during the movie's release - October 31, as he has to be in Hyderabad from October 20 to November 5 for a shooting schedule of his next movie Veeram. Due to this, a special screening of Arrambam was held for Ajith and his family. After watching the movie, Ajith was full of praise for his director Vishnuvardhan and all his co-stars. He thanked Vishnuvardhan for giving him such a 'Big' film!
Ajith also called up Arya and praised him for his amazing combination with Taapsee and his youthful exuberance throughout the movie. Ajith went a step ahead and assured Arya that he would have a very successful year ahead, as he has continuously been racking up hit after hit. It is said that Arya was very humbled by all this praise from Ajith and responded in kind, and thanked him stating that all this praise will inspire him to do better in his career. Producer AM Ratnam who was listening to this conversation was very pleased with the wonderful rapport between Ajith and Arya, and also said that Arrambam would mark a new beginning in the trend of multi-starrer movies!

Ajith in a role with gray shades!
Thala Ajith's Arrambam has been making waves right from the day it was announced. This Vishnuvardhan directed multi-starrer also has Arya, Taapsee and Nayantara in lead roles with actors like Rana Daggubati, Kishore, Suman Ranganathan and Atul Kulkarni supporting them. The trailer has been taking the viewers' expectations for the movie to unseen heights. With a lot of things about the movie remaining a mystery, director Vishnuvardhan has revealed some interesting tidbits in a recent interview... but far from satisfying people's curiosities, it has only served to increase them.
The Billa director has revealed that Ajith's character has 2 faces in the movie with one of them having definite shades of gray... but he refused to reveal if Ajith was the villain in the movie... Vishnuvardhan also said that he wanted to be the first to make a movie with Ajith's character having the 'salt and pepper' look, but Venkat Prabhu beat him to it! Yuvanshankar Raja has scored the music for Arrambam, produced by Sri Sathya Sai Movies. This movie, having Sreekar Prasad's editing and Om Prakash's cinematography is slated to hit screens on October 31.

Arrambam, Ajith's best till date; Ajtih praises Arya
Thala Ajith's diwali dhamaka Arrambam was screened yesterday for the Censors at the Four Frames Preview Theaters. The four officials who saw the movie gave it a clean U with absolutely no cuts and called it Ajith's best movie till date.
