Kollywood hero Vijay's recent Pongal release Jilla has got a stupendous response at the box office and it kick-started 2014 for hero Vijay in style. Mohanlal played a cameo in the movie and it became a highlight for the movie!

This Nesan's action entertainer is now getting competition from Tollywood big heroes including Mahesh, Ram Charan and Jr NTR for remake in Telugu. Mahesh watched the movie and has appreciated the team and congratulated director Nesan personally over phone.

We have seen earlier how well Mahesh or Vijay slip into the shoes of respective roles and so people are speculating that Jilla would suit for the image of Mahesh Babu. But Charan's fans beg to differ here and are saying that Charan would suit best for the Vijay's Jilla role. Jilla director said that he has been getting calls from Tollywood heroes and that he has not thought about with whom to work for the remake. Nesan however said he would certainly work for a movie in Telugu. We hope to get some clarity on this soon!
