After the stupendous success of Singam 2, Surya is donning the lead role in a film directed by Lingusamy. The shooting of this film commenced in Mumbai and the shooting is going on in top gear. Now a song sequence is being shot. A mammoth set has been erected in Borivali area at a cost of Rs 80 Lakhs. The song sequence is being shot in this set. It is understood that a Mumbai based actress will dance with Surya in this song sequence. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for this song and Ranjith has rendered his voice. Raju Sundaram is choreographing this song sequence. After completing the song sequence, the shooting of this film will continue for two more weeks in Mumbai. After this the shooting will continue in Goa for ten days.

Suriya and Gautham Menon to work together again!

Earlier, it was announced that Suriya and Gautham Menon would be working in a movie called Dhruva Natchathiram. Then the project was getting delayed, and the movie didn't take off... Recently, Suriya released a statement that he had waited enough and as the project was still not moving on, he was moving out of it. The latest is that, Suriya has revealed that he would work again with his Vaaranam Aayiram director. Though he did not mention Gautham Menon by name, it was evident that he was talking about him only. Suriya added that he had not split with the director for ever, and would be coming back with a stunning project together, next year. Meanwhile, Suriya has started work on his upcoming movie with Lingusamy, for which a test shoot happened recently, using the latest Red Dragon technology. This project will begin it's regular shooting on November 15 and is scheduled for a May 2014 release. The movie will have Samantha playing Suriya's love interest, under Thirrupathi Brothers' production. Santosh Sivan will handle the camera for this project, which will have music by Yuvan.
