Happy Birthday Thulasi!
The young and vibrant Thulasi, daughter of yesteryear star Radha, made her debut through Mani Ratnam's Kadal, opposite fellow debutant Gautham Karthik. Today, this young lass celebrates her birthday, and we wish her a wonderful day and year ahead! Thulasi is currently acting in Yaan, alongside Jiiva. Yaan is the maiden directorial venture of ace cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran.

Endrendrum Punnagai audio launched!
Jiiva and Trisha's upcoming movie Endrendrum Punnagai, directed by Ahmed, also has Vinay, Santhanam and Andreah in important roles. Harris Jayaraj has composed 6 songs for the movie, of which a single - 'Vaan Engum', was released on October 18, and has been garnering wonderful response from the fans. The audio was released at a grand function at Sathyam Cinemas, yesterday. The event was graced by the presence of Kamal Haasan, director Bala and many other A-listers of Kollywood. The lyrics for the 6 songs in the album have been written by Kabilan, Viveka, Madhan Karky, Thamarai and also has the words of the late legend Vaali! Have you listened to the songs yet?

New look for Ilayathalapathy in Jilla!
Ilayathalapathy Vijay is working hard on the way to complete his upcoming movie Jilla. This movie, to be directed by debutant Nesan, stars Kajal Agarwal as the female lead and also has Mohanlal in a very pivotal role! It is to be noted that Nesan earlier worked as the second unit director in Vijay's 2011 movie Velayutham. Jilla, expected to hit screens for Pongal 2014, is touted to have all the components one can expect in a Vijay movie, like action, sentiment and comedy. The director has revealed that Vijay's look in this movie would be completely different from his appearances in his recent 4 or 5 movies. Stay tuned for more updates!

Wedding bells for Kalyani
Kalyani, who started her career as a child artiste with telly serials, later debuted with a Prabhu Deva film, 'Alli Thandha Vaanam'. Her bubbly and spontaneous acting brought her more films as a child actress, including Ramana and Jayam.
Later, when she graduated as a heroine with a movie, 'Marendhen Meimarandhen', she changed her name to Poornitha. She did a few films, like 'Pradhi Nyayiru 9.30 to 10' and 'Inba'. The vivacious girl is equally busy on the small screen now. The petite girl is soon to tie the knot with a Mumbai-based doctor, Rohit, a trauma care specialist attached to Jaslok Hospital.
Speaking to DC, an excited Kalyani says, "It's purely an arranged marriage. Rohit's parents saw me at my cousin sister's wedding and approached my parents. Later we had a proper pen paarkkum padalam and both of us met and gave our consent."
Ask her if she would continue her film and TV work, pat she replies, "Undoubtedly! Rohit is very jovial and is open to my continuing my career. I may take a break for a while and come back later."
The wedding will be solemnised in traditional Malayali-style, with the thali being tied at the Mahalingapuram Temple in the city on December 12 with the rest of the ceremonies and reception being held at Le Meridien on the same day.

Arrambam movie Run Time
Arrambam has completed its censor work and received 'U' Certificate and releasing in grand manner on October 31st for Diwali. This movie will have Vishnuvardhan's mark screenplay and movie running time will be 2hrs 37mins 16secs. Arrambam will be dubbed in Telugu as 'Aata Arrambam', already director Vishnuvardhan is familiar in Tollywood with 'Panjaa' and Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati is playing an important role in this action thriller film, so there are fair chances of making good Business in Tollywood.
Ajith Kumar, Arya, Rana, Nayantara and Taapsee Pannu are playing important roles under direction of Vishnuvardhan. Yuvan Shankar Raja is giving tunes for this movie. A.Raghuram is producing this movie under Sri Satya Sai Movies.

Same day release for Arrambam Telugu version!
Ajith's upcoming movie Arrambam, under director Vishnuvardhan, is all set to release on October 31. Produced by AM Ratnam and A Raghuram, this movie also stars Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee in lead roles! With music by Yuvanshakar Raja and cinematography by Om Prakash, Arrambam is being very eagerly awaited in Kollywood. We hear that the Telugu version of this movie has been titled Aata Arambham, and it will also be released on the same day as its' Tamil counterpart. The presence of Nayantara, Taapsee and T-town's very own Rana Daggubati in the movie is sure to make it reach well to the Tollywood audience.
